Important Fitment Note

Mercedes-Benz used two different oil filters on some early M278 and M157 engines.

This kit includes OEM Mercedes-Benz Oil Filter Part Number 2781800009.

Some vehicles may instead require OEM Part Number 2761800009. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the correct oil filter using their VIN or by checking the part number on the filter currently installed in the vehicle prior to ordering. Due to the varying filter applications used by Mercedes-Benz, we are unable to verify the correct filter based on VIN. Orders placed with the incorrect filter due to lack of verification are the responsibility of the customer
